K Block motor versus the L Block motor.....hmmmmmmmmmm 200

As I'm finding out, I have both the K block motor in the 90 245, and the L Block motor in the 93 245. What are the major differences in this type of motor. Obviously they look the same. I must say, I do love that 93 245! The 90 245 is very nice also, but the '93 just seems to run and feel better. Thanks for the advice and expert information - I've learned a GREAT deal here from the generous information of other volvo enthusiasts!
