Differential Drain Plug 120-130

Get a gasket first (or resign yourself to using silicone goo) and pull the cover. If you have had the rear end open recently and know the conditin of the innards, then the "suck and puke" method is probably OK. I, for one, like to see the parts so I know what is going on. There should be no metal in a differential. If there is, you have a bearing (or three) going south, fast.

Gear oil additive for LSD (limited slip differential, get yer mind out of the gutter) helps clutch type LSDs only as it helps lock-up and prevents chatterof the clutch plates. No use whatsoever on gear-type or ratchet units.

Mike!
