Setup of timing style 1930 120-130

I see (on a filmstrip) that the timing setup procedure on 1930's cars is very similar to the ones of our carburated amazons. That filmstrip is available on:

I feel the trick of use a light for setup the timing could be used on our cars (of course, timing light are best, but in need...)
