Best way to polish windscreen?? 200

The windscreen is just getting very rough right now with the wipers having trouble moving through the sweeps.It makes a horrible stuttering movement everytime especially in intermitent mode. Anyone know of the best method to make them smooth once more? The blades seem fine with just replaced silicone ones. The old rubber ones were much worse. Thanks.
