stall, no start 700 1987

The car is turbo has 175,000 miles on it. Last night the car would not crank up. finally it cranked. This morning it cranked up right away. Drove the car for fifteen minutes and stalled out. Will not restart. The rpm's jump when cranking over. The car will jump up to about750 rpm's. It seems like it has what it needs to start. It just will not turn on. Please help me get this car home from the beach.
