could i use the power window harness from a 1984 turbo window with 1993 power window setup? 200

I will pull the moters and regulators and switches from the 93. the interior is one that I would prefer not do dig around much in, and since there is a very clean 84 turbo wagon sitting next to it with the seats already gone, I was wondering if I could pull that wireing harness to use with the newer moters?
thanks and happy bricking. by a chance are old power window moters made better then new ones? Oh, if the car does not have the battery in it and i can't move the moters can i still get them out?
sorry about the poor typing...I'm at the worst keyboard that I have ever used the shift key hardly works!
