Hello All,

Can anyone help me.
I own a 760 GLE Volvo 1990.
About two days ago it started sputtering, rough idle and hesitating. When I come to a complete stop, the car idles rough. When I am taking off form a stopped position, the car hesitates, then shortly after the car kick off as though it is working fine.

I am thinking that it could be the gas filer,map sensor, air flow sensor if so where are these items located?.

Also if this engine get shot, can I subsitute for another engine, like a GM or Ford?.

Any assistance is appriecated.
