You are correct. You will not find a car like yours in the Nederlands. It was made with American specs, but has some European parts, like side marker lights and the radio in the bottom of the console instead of the top slot. The DIP tag allows it to be shipped to the USA and pass inspection at the port. The headlights are also American specs.
Most of us are trying to get European parts and the Europeans are trying to get American parts.
