Speaker and power window not working, can it be related? 200

My passenger side speaker and power window are not working. At first I thought i just had a bad speaker or something until my freind got in the car yesterday and yelled at me for having the child window locks on. Well they weren't and the window still won't work but I can control it from the drivers side. So what i am wondering if maybe these to problems are related and how to go about finding the problem and fixing it? I'm about ready to do a 500 mile trip up to michigan so it would be nice to have all my speakers working... So any suggestions? Thanks for all the help i have recieved on here in the past. Just got my hi flow exhaust installed, i've noticed i don't run at as high of rpms now, might be a good thing with these high gas prices.
