I'm going to look at a 1989 245 DL this weekend, the lady is asking 5700.00 for it. This lady and I have the same mechanic and I've talked to him about it. He's basically put in a new engine over the past two years, new transmission and rear axle, new radiator, no rust on body or underside. All new tires, new CD player. It looks pretty. I haven't had a good look at the interior yet and haven't been able to check the electrical doo-hickeys. Despite all the work I think 5700.00 is still steep for a 15 year old car. I'm thinking not more than 4000.00. What do you think?
