1986 740T Light Troubles 700

Last week I hopped in my car to leave to work and the bulb out indicator came on. I turned ALL lights on (including fog) and walked around the car. the drivers side rear driving light was out.

First check I switched it with the pass side bulb to see if it worked. It didn't. so I got out the meter, about 1.6 volts to the connection ALL wires seem to be fine.

Next check pull the bulb failure box out of the console and replace it with an extra a friend had on hand. lights work.

Next day bulb light failure light comes on again. Turn ALL lights on (including fog) only this time rear driver side driving light is out AND the front drivers side head lamp is out?

Now the ultimate question. what's going on? why all of a sudden? any suggestions? I did not yet test the voltage to the head lamp.

Thanks
Brad
