speed sensor casting 200 1989

Was trying to install a new engine speed sensor yesterday. Old one had probably never been replaced and was really STUCK. The long and short of it is I pried too hard and broke the casting it's mounted in. Looks impossible to replace without dropping the transmission because of the location of the nuts that hold it on. Will cheerfully accept any advice as to: 1) a source for the part, 2) the name of some magical adhesive I could use as at least a temporary fix, and 3) a way to get at those nuts without dropping the trans. Thanks in advance.
