u-joint grease fitting 200 1986

Hi,
I finally got around to checking out my driveline vibration.I noticed the rear u-joint has some play in it and I also noticed it has a grease fitting(zerk).
why does this one have a grease fitting where the other 2 don't?I guess I'll stick the grease gun in there and give it a shot o'grease and see if that does anything.I remember Abe or someone adding one to they're u-joint but I didn't know they came with one.Maybe the PO added this one.He is a brickboarder too.
