glovebox removal/replacement 200 1993

In taking my glovebox out, to get to the overdrive relay (resoldered and fixed now!), I removed the 7 screws around the edge, and found it wouldnt come out like they usually do. Further inspection showed two screws up under the edge by the hinges, where it was nearly impossible to remove them, as the door was in the way. Now, as these screws seem to add to the stability of the glove box, I'd like to put them back in, but there has to be some trick that I dont know about. Is it possible to unhook the curved plastic pieces that hold the door on, put in the screws, then hook them back up? Or is the reason I've never seen these two screws before that they're impossible to replace so no one does?
