CRANK KEY / KEYWAY

There is a repair you can do for this. Check the 700/900 FAQ. Basically, you grings the remaining bit down fluck with the side of the gear, drill out the embedded metal, then insert a rod of some kind (drill bit end?) and cut it off to needed length (however much the key way stuck out)
