my new 73 ES-body good, mechanicals so-so-more questions 1800

I picked up the ebay purchase yesterday. Some of you may have seen it-the orange 73 ES. Turns out the car is from Texas-a big relief as I live, and purchased the car in the rustbelt sight unseen (except for pics) on ebay(brilliant!). I lucked out. The body is fairly clean, however has a shabby repaint that I can live with for now and a few dents. My wife calls it a "patina"-lol.

I checked some of the links posted the other day, but so far I'm having a hard time finding a couple of things to get me started. First-I need the sill trim and rubber for both doors. The Texas sun has destroyed the rubber on the car. Rain runs right down the window, past the totally cracked weather strips. The chrome is actually fine. Just the rubber is bad, so if anyone knows of a source for that I would be thankful. Speaking of rubber-door gaskets-where might one find those?

It will take me a long time to get up to speed on these cars as my first hobby is BMW 2002s. I know it's possible that I'm asking for parts that are near impossible to find and everybody needs. I thank you in advance for your patience

Bob
