Posts still a bit crazy, but workable. Perhaps the board software doesn't agree with html in a sig file...?

Indeed though, I would say that the fluid in a M40 definitely churns enough to get anything close enough to the magnet to stick. I suppose if you were really concerned about it, you could mill or grind off the stock magnet material and epoxy a stronger magnet in... perhaps best to even drill a hole so you can inset it, but I think the stock magnet is plenty good enough to do the job.

Keep in mind that a M40 is good for probably 500k. Maybe a million under normal conditions. Just be sure to change that fluid every year or two. I think the recommended interval is 30k miles or so.
