What tires should I buy?

I have a 1988 Volvo 244 with the m47 five speed and Virgo Wheels. It's nearing time to buy tires for the car. I car is going to stay with me indeafinitly so, I want a good tire. I only drive about 7500 miles a year. The car currently has Toyo 800 Ultras, I priced thouse at like $102 per tire. I don't think that those are that great for that price. They were on when I bought the car two years ago. I live in Oregon. We get a lot of rain during 3/4 of the year. I don't drive too crazily, although don't go real slow through the corners. I trying to decide, if I should spend the money for the Michalins or if I would be just as well off with like a good year eagle or khumo, or Pereli. I have never bought tires before, as this is my first car, and I want to be happy with my purchse. With the amount I drive, is it worth it to actually get the 100k mile tire or would just rot before I wore it out?
What do you use on your cars? By the way I run 19560R15...is this best? What do you think my best value is?
Thanks and happy bricking!
