93 944 NA Water Valve...it's time 900

Buenas Tardes,

I put together a to-do list of components at the end of their useful life. I have 221k and ten years on the original water valve, so I am sure it has to go.

I have a valve (MTC on the box) and hoses (of unknown origin) that I bought as spares and plan to install on the car, but now I am getting cold feet.

I saw the OEM at Swedish Engineering and noticed they sell the Volvo part. However, it was all plastic. The MTC is metal/plastic.

Anyone have a negative experience with the MTC valve? If I am going to do it, I want to do it right. This is too valuable of component to take chances.

Muchas Gracias Amigos.
