Head unit install 200 1991

The factory "amp" (that's being charitable) is located behind the lower storage cutout in the center console. It's sturdily mounted in place, and there's little advantage to removing it other than to save weight.

For my money. Crutchfield had the best of all worlds. I got a substantial Pioneer CD unit with about 30 watts x 4 channels, and used JBL speakers (5-1/4 in the front, 4" in the rear), and the correct wiring harness and dash adapter were part of the package.

You can also look up Scoshe on the web for the right adapters.
