Heater fan and Fuel line leak 200 1985

Hello;
I'm new here and I've been checking the Archives for info on 2 fairly frequent problems with the car. It's a 1985 DL wagon with 135k miles which we've been driving for about 5 years. Apparently I've been lucky that these problems haven't surfaced before this.
The return gas line is leaking somewhere under the car so it smells like gas when the windows are open.
The heater fan bearings are screaming.
Which of the references on the site will give me the most complete instructions about repairing these 2 items? I've kind of compiled several bits 'n pieces but I only want to do it (either one of these projects)once.

In the winter (Saint Paul, Minnesota) we can't defrost the windows and in the summer (it's 90 deg f and humid today) we can't open the windows.

My wife has the air conditioned 1993 240 wagon. No problems (so far) on the "good" car.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

John
