Fuel Delivery K-Jet 200 1981

Greetings all

Still trying to troubleshoot my no start issue.

Quick recap: Commuting home, buck and stumble then stall. Switched fuel pump relays, no go, jumped 5 and 7 no go. Finally it started and I was able to get home. This morning I got around to looking at it again. Started up, idled its usual slightly rough idle, but revved real nice. Within a minute or two, idling became rougher until it stalled. I could get it to start again, but it would stall right away. Now it cranks real nice but no start. I hook a timing light to each spark plug lead in turn and the timing light fires. In the quiet of my driveway, I can hear the fuel pump run when I jump 5 and 7. I can feel the relay click when I turn the key to start. However, when I check the spark plugs, there is not a whiff of fuel odor on any of the four.

I guess my question is: If I hear the fuel pump (and which pump am I hearing?) is it possible for fuel to still not reach the cylinders at start?

I recently replaced the fuel filter and injectors and seals, maybe 2K miles ago.

I have the Volvo green book on the Lamba system, the frequency valve and wiring checks ok.

Any thoughts?

Thanks a bunch

Scott
