That is the same idea I have. I just finished with the Flathood conversion on the 79 264GL. I went from the 4 square lights to the 7" round lights. I think it looks great but I would like to have the old 242 grill so I can have those driving lights. Then I can use the FOG LIGHT SWITCH as it was meant to be used. Currently I have the fog light switch wired to ground the coolant temp sensor so I can have an easy idle till the engine warms up. I have a break in the wiring somewhere but I will look for it later.
