89 744 NA -->Ti injectors not firing, coil does not have power either 700 1989

I am doing a motor swap and I have only 2 problems.
1. no power to coil ( I hot wired the coil and I wil get spark. and fire.)
2. the injectors are not firing. I switched the fuel pump and I am getting pressure up to the fuel rail.

Is there a wire (or wires) that would cause this.

I put starting fluid in the intake manfould and it runs for a few sec. and dies (when the coil is hot wired) If I am right when you hot wire the coil the dash lights are to come on but they dont. what would casue this?

any ideas?
