Smart VOV: severe vs. standard duty 700

Picked up a "smart" variable orifice valve from NAPA --
They sold me the severe-duty valve (temps over 105F) rather than the standard duty.

Despite all the information that comes up on an internet search, I still don't find a straightforward, technical explanation of the difference between these two versions. Is the valve activation pressure setting lower or higher - what?

Anyone know the answer?

Thanks,

Adam
