corroded spark plug wire at the cap 900

I replaced the cap rotor and wires on my 93 940 waggon and recently the car would not start in the morning, most of the time it would be on Monday morning after sitting a couple of days. now it is happing more and more. I checked the wires at the rotor and one wire was/ is corroded, I took some sand paper and cleaned it off and place some die-electric grease on the wire that seamed to have fixed it for a while but it is doing it again. did I forget to do something when changing the cap and wires?

thanks in advance
