1) I realize that this has been discussed before. But, since i cannot easily find the information, and, since it's nice to have an update/reorganization, could we discuss which wheels, both volvo and non-volvo, will fit a 740?

a) Other volvos

b) Non-volvos, i.e., ford thunderbird? Which years?

c) what tires and sizes do you presently have fitted on your 7/9 series. Do you recommend them or not?


2) My REAR wheels on my 740 don't hold air anymore. It's not the valves or the tires because i've replaced both---twice. Presently i am running inner-tubes in both rear wheels with satisfactory results. The only problem is the tubes sometimes, although not too frequently, develop punctures. Hence my asking of question #1 above. I suspect this is due to the suspect quality of the tubes.

a) Have you experienced the same(the wheels, not the tubes)? If so, what can be done to remedy the situation?

b) Can you tell me anything about inner-tubes. Such as websites and different brands of tubemakers?
