Steering wheel horn wire ferrule - got one? 120-130

Horn not working for quite some time, and I finally pulled it apart and discovered that the (relatively heavy gauge) wire is broken just below the brass ferrule/contact underneath the horn ring. This ferrule appears to be crimped to the soldered and of the wire feeding up through the steering shaft, and unlikely that I will be able to spread it open, remove the old wire and install a new tinned end. Any ideas? Anybody have another ferrrule or the wire complete with ferrule/contact, long enough to reach the end of fore end of the steering box? thanks
