Brake pad question.... 200 1990

Hi all,
Where shall I get the pads from, Autozone or NAPA? I usually order everything from IPD, but I looked at my passenger side pad and there maybe ~3-5mm of pad left, so I need them fast. I heard someone here claiming that these stores will replace them for free when they wear off in future?? I only saw 1-yr warranty on these, so why would they replace them?
