AW70l: how much fluid to fill after drain? 700

When refilling an AW-7x series transmission, I cheat a little. You'll notice a small notch in the tranny dipstick that's a little bit above the full mark. This notch is the "full" mark when the engine is off and the fluid is cold. A fellow brickboarder made light of it awhile back. Normal tranny fluid level checking is done with the engine running and making sure that it's between the marked High-Low lines on the stick (sorry if I'm preaching to the choir on this).

Anyways, I seem to have experienced somewhere between 3 to 4 quarts refilling the tranny after removing/cleaning the pan and filter.
