Thanks for all your help the other day guys when I, shamefully, started getting whiny on the "troubles" with my 240. The Borbet's didn't mount on the rear because of a horn like device designed to protect the gas tank in the event of an accident. The mechanic just shimmed it out a bit with a few washers, as per a brickboarders advice, and the problem was solved. As to my other woes, re starting and stalling (but only sometimes) he suspected a malfunctioning mass air sensor, and gave me a good one to install on the spot when my car acts up again. If it proves to be the sensor then I'll have to get one from somewhere. Not as bad as I was picturing in my mind . . . thanks again, Fred
