Start, Rumble, Idle, Smoke hummmmm 700 1989

1989 760Ti

K here's what i got

Some of you know i just installed and engine into this car.

Compression is
160-165 on all 4
New Head Gasket
New FPR
New Exhaust Gasket's
New Spark Plugs and wires
Throttle body is clean

Problem!
When i start the engine it idle very rough on what i would say is 2 cyl's for about 10-15 seconds at which time it idle out to a normall idle alittle high at 1050-1100
Any time i give it gas i get a VERY VERY rich running condition huge balls of smoke if i take my foot off the gas it goes down to almost not noticeable, i can hold the pedal down at 2k 3k whatever and then engine hold's no problem but lot's of smoke.
If i shut it off it's a bitch to get restarted, if i hold the gas pedal down it will start back up after a good amount of starter rotation's, from a cold start it starts up with the same symptom's above just without as many starter rotations.
I have no water in the oil.
checked timeing 3 time's, i pulled the current dist from the pick a part yard.

Am i missing something here i should be checking i would like to get this car on the road before augest.
