960 fogs - OEM or aftermarket ? 900 1995

My '95 960 came with one smashed factory fog lens (although the lamp actually does still work). Before I go junkyard-roaming for a lens or new lamp assembly, I wondered if anyone has had any success in trying to hang aftermarket fogs from the front bumper, since the factory fogs don't light up the road very well, anyway.

I have a very good set of Hellas that would be perfect, and they appear to have anough clearance if they're mounted bolt-up, but I wonder if there's any way to get to the inside of the bumper to snug the nuts after you drill a hole and push the mounting bolt up thru. I haven't yet put the car up on a rack, but from just feeling around, it seems to be pretty well-enclosed from the back side (toward the driver), and I'm not sure you can even get in there short of tearing half the front end off.

Oh, for the days of the old 240 C-shaped bumpers, when one carbide-tipped drill bit = new fog lamps mounted !!

Any ideas or suggestions ????
