Replaced fan clutch..seems to be working better! 200 1987

Hey dudes,

I was having trouble with my brick starting to overheat when sitting in traffic or if I just let it idle. After going through the board, I more or less determined it was the fan clutch. So I put a used one on and tested the car last night. I ran it for like a half an hour and the temperature guage got up to about say 10:00 o'clock and stayed there....just over half-way is what I'm trying to say.

I replaced the water pump, thermostat, had a flush and fill done, replaced hoses about two months ago, so I figured this had to be what was wrong! Does anyone know if there are any other possibilities. I'm pretty sure the temperature guage is working correctly as the car was definitely over-heating when idling and the guage showed that as well!

Thanks
