Need help with short-forms 700

I'm sorry, but I go through the FAQ's and I come across so manny short forms for things and I have no idea what most people are refereing to. Is there any place I can go to that has a list of the short-forms for all the parts you people talk about.
Sorry for being old and kind of slow in the brain dept. but I'm always trying to learn more about my car and it's problems by reading the FAQ's before I submit a question here.
