Air Mass Meter 900 1994

Had engine start & idling problem after replacing head gasket. Engine difficult to start, accelerator pedal had to be pumped, but all would clear up after 10-15 seconds. Car is 1994 940 b230fd 70k miles.

Checked Air-Mass-Meter, which is just south of the air cleaner box, and disconnected electrical cable, then reconnected it and idle problem has, at least for the time being, gone to someone else's Volvo. Suspect ECU reset, but don't really know, just a thought. Engine starts & idles fine now and no need to pump accelerator pedal.
