voltmeter hookup 200 1993

I just installed one last night for my 83, so I don't know if there were any changes in the next 10 years. Mine had the factory harness, but, in any event, even if yours doesn't, you plug the long one (mine was blue/red) or you can fabricate a long one, in to a fuse on the fuse box that is "switched," i.e, one that only gives you power when the ignition is on. #12 is the one I used, but you may check the little panel to find one that is switched, or you could probably experiment. The ground wire should go to a ground (mine went to the little screw at the top of driver's side of the center console). A third wire is for the light. Get yourself a wire tap and tap in to the brown wire that goes to the lights in the console.
