I searched , and dont see my stalling problem . 1990 740 , is posessed 700

So its got 165,000 miles , runs great . Well once or twice a day , it will decide ..... oh im going to stall soon as you crank me up . It only does this when warmed up .

Example , drive 10 miles to get a soda , come back out and crank her up , it may work fine and idle , or it may stall after you start it . It always cranks back up , but instantly dies when its in the mood to play games with me . Like .... crank crank crank , vroom , idle for 1 second and die like key was turned off .

Ok keep foot on gas and put in gear to get moving ..... come to 1st stop light , and its back to normal . Idles perfect !

May or may not act up again for quite a while . But .... only after shutting it off . If you kept it running , it would run all day long without a problem .

I had a buddy adjust the idle that used to work on volvos . That helped none .
