Cam info for 89 245 5 sp.... 200

Would it be wise to buy a differant cam spec. for my car for highway use? I do have the 5 speed and anyone else doen this before notice a differance with the N/A motor and a camgear/cam addition..which would be my best bet for a combo...

another thing, anything else i should do for adjustments once i change the cam? Lash caps? which ones will i need or is it all dependant on the motor's wear? A SOHC motor cam should be easy enough to change, besides I have to do the belt anyway....or I am going too because i dont know when it was changed last...i have 180k on her, and she runs like a top..very very clean motor, i have cleaned the damn thing inside and out...motorwise and body/interior...

thanks again everyone...

robert
