Any Thing to watchout for. S90-V90

There are stacks of posts that discuss the pros and cons of the 960 series. About half would point out that you're nuts for attempting to even drive this car, other than over a cliff, let alone be buying one. The other half will sing it's praises as the best RWD Volvo built; roomy , comfortable, powerful and full of goodies. (OK, I've taken some interpretive license here) At the core of it's design is the I6 24 valve engine that uses a breakable timing belt. And they do break; talk to Robert (volvo4fun). You can decide whether you want to follow the 70K interval and monitor the belt at regular intervals or change it at a shorter interval.

Do make sure you run synthetic oil and transmission fluid.
