240 DL misfires when wet 200 1990

Hi everybody,

My 1990 240 DL has major problems when it's wet outside. The car runs great unitl I go through a puddle or drive through lots of rain. The first two times it happened, I thought I ran out of gas, but now know that's not true, however that's how the car feels. With lots of high idling it makes a clicking noise and will run fine again on occasion. Other times I have to let it dry. My distributor cap is fine (no cracks, etc...), what else could it be?!
