94 940 brake job questions 900

Well, the time has come to finally replace that warped rotor I have up front. I've got all the parts ordered that I think I'll need. I have the 11" Girling ABS system (in the front anyway). Going to replace the rotors with the Brembo ones offered by FCP along with some new metal master pads.

I've decided that while I'm down there, I'll upgrade to braided brake hoses on the front and rear. Since this is my first real brakejob, I've been reading the FAQ thoroughly. I have just a few more questions for the experts out there.

I'm curious about how much brake fluid I'm going to need to flush the system, do bleeding, and whatnot. I bought one of those Motive power bleeders from FCP when I ordered the rest of the stuff. If that makes any difference.

Also, would it be good to just go down to the dealer here in Omaha and buy new caliper hardware? The rear ones looked ok, but I haven't had a chance to get the front calipers apart. How much do the pins, etc, usually run from a dealer?

Thanks everyone, your help has made owning my Volvo much more affordable and fun!

Sincerely,
Matt
