Sputtering and Bucking... 200

My 87 245 has recently begun sputtering and bucking while I drive. Sometimes the car runs perfect and sometimes it just can't seem to get it together. When I stop sometimes the idle will drop to nothing and then it will catch and sometimes it just dies. I have this problem at all speeds and can't seem to find any driving conditions that bring it on. The timing belt was changed about a thousand miles ago and I also had to replace the fuel pump relay. There is also a new fuel filter on the car too, but the problem started before all that work. The motor mounts need replacing and the car has 260,000 miles. Any ideas???
