AC woes 700 1989

AC problem, just had new compressor installed. AC seems to work but my mechanic
says the blower fan motor is drawing too many amps. Any help welcome. Also any
one have a schematic for ac system wiring for 89 740GL? Not enough detail in mine to see where all wires are going and what they are attached to. Mechanic also says I burned up my compressor because of failure of the blower not working when it should have. (his idea) Thanks much. ep
