Tires for 240 sedan - michelin hydroedge? 200 1992

Looking to replace tires on my 92 240 sedan. i can get a (relatively)good deal on Michelin Hydroedges 185/70 R14($75/each installed). Anyone got any opinion on them? Seem like they may be a bit overkill for the brick. Seem to be well rated except for a few people who say they are noisy and not great in snow. They are rated 80,000 miles (hence a hard compound and feel 'firm')

If not these, what other alternatives would people recommend? looking for a mid/low price alternative.
