engine died 700

finnaly i fixed my OD on my 740 turbo/M46 (new pistons) - so i was happy ... but not for long. Yesterday morning the car started fine, i drove like 100m and at the stop sign the engine went out and since then it didn't start anymore. I just read FAQ and i suspect now the coil since i don't have a spark on my plugs, but can it die that fast?? Could it be also the fuel pump (i checked the fuses - they are all ok), or rotor???
Any ideas and how to check it?
thx. Stefan
