Any 240 from 92 or 93 in great shape will make you happy. Find an excellent one around 100K for less that $5000 and plan to drive it for the next couple of decades. Always be on the hunt for a Classic, and you may find one at a reasonable price from someone who is not so much into profiting from "collectors." Be Jonny-on-the-spot with new ads. Try Craigslist and cars.com. People advertising in the paper usually just want to sell a car at a good price. Auto Trader, Collector Car Trader, and Ebay sellers are usually aware that they can get a lot. When I bought my classic, I found it locally on cars.com and in my local paper. The people were nice and I got a good deal. I was the first person there and had plenty of time to inspect it and test drive it.

So, get a good running 92 or 93 for a daily driver. Keep vigilant for your Classic and it will probably come up.
