Trouble with 1988 740 non-turbo when idle, it stalls as rpm goes down 700 1988

I have a 740 non turbo and I am having trouble in idle. It starts ok, but if I stop in a stop light, the rmp goes really low and sometimes the car stops. If I go downhill into my backlane, then stop and try to go in reverse to get into my carport, as soon as I stop pressing the gas, the rpms go down and the car stops. Sometimes it does not, but it almost. But as soon as I start driving, everything is fine. I've taken my car many times to the dealer to fix other startup problems and they have replaced almost everything from the cap, rotor, cables, sparks, battery, a few relays (I've had other kinds of troubles with the car not starting and flooding in cold weather), but I am reluctant to take it in again as it is very expensive every time.

Thanks

Bernardo
