GL dome light not coming on--relay and location? 200 1989

In my 1989 240 GL sedan, the dome light does not come on when the driver's door is activated. I know that the switch is in the correct position because the light is activated for the other three doors, but not for the driver's.

I'm pretty sure that I read that the GLs had some extra wiring "stuff" that kept the dome light on for 15 seconds after the driver's door was opened. The DLs did not have this feature, so I assume the light went off as the door was closed. I think I've heard that there is a dome light relay somewhere, and I was wondering if a bad one could be the reason the driver's side door doesn't activate the light anymore.

Could a bad relay be causing this malfunction on the one door, since it's got a different setup than the other three? Where is the relay? I would like to get an extra one at a junkyard, if I can find one and get it out.
