Speedometer problem 200 1990

Scott,

Hope you don't mind some sympathy. The wifemobile stops reporting speed and counting miles occasionally during or just after a very hard rain. Never happens dry.

I've resealed her windshield once since acquiring the 89 245 with a poorly urethaned replacement windshield, but a small leak yet remains, which seems to follow the harness right to the board on the back of the speedometer.

Should fix this, I know, but the farthest I ever get is to lift the carpets and shove my hand under feeling for the moisture that will disintegrate the floor.
